About this fabric
This Taxus fabric by Larsen has a calm, close-knit appearance, with the 0cm repeat letting the fine, irregular texture do all the visual work. The 143cm approximate width and balanced composition of 40% polyamide, 25% cotton, 15% linen, 12% polyester and 8% viscose make it a practical cloth for schemes that want a natural look with a little added resilience. In Wood, the colour sits between brown and taupe, softened by dry, stone-like flecks that lift the surface in the light. The result is a grounded, quietly versatile fabric that feels more tactile and nuanced than a plain solid.
How to use it
Use this colourway on a sofa, banquette or occasional chair where its muted brown base can warm oak, walnut and leather. It also works well alongside parchment, putty and dark bronze finishes, with the mottled texture adding depth rather than contrast.
