Tsuga Celadon

Taxus FabricL9174-05

Tsuga Celadon reads as a quiet, mineral green with a soft grey cast and a fine horizontal texture across the surface. The overall effect is understated and tailored rather than bright or botanical.

About this fabric

This Tsuga Celadon colourway shows a muted celadon-green tone softened by grey and taupe undertones, with a gently striated weave that gives the surface a dry, tactile look. The fabric is 143cm wide approximately and is composed of 40% Polyamide, 25% Cotton, 15% Linen, 12% Polyester and 8% Viscose, which helps explain its balanced, slightly crisp handle and refined texture. With repeat V 0cm / H 0cm approx, the design presents as a plain-textured cloth rather than a pattern repeat, making the visible grain and colour variation the main character. The finish feels calm and contemporary, with enough body for use across upholstery or drapery depending on the intended application.

How to use it

Use this celadon shade on a tailored armchair, banquette or relaxed curtains where its cool, muted tone can sit against timber, plaster and stone. It works especially well with soft neutrals and dark bronze accents, letting the subtle texture do the visual work.

Pair with pale oak, limestone and muted bronze for a calm, tailored scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
