Taxus Sea Blue

Taxus FabricL9154-07

Taxus Sea Blue reads as a cool, softly weathered blue with a linen-rich texture that gives the surface gentle depth. The plain weave and subdued finish keep the colourway calm rather than bright.

About this fabric

This colourway shows a muted sea blue with greyed undertones, so the surface feels fresh but softened, like colour washed through the weave. The texture is clearly visible in the cloth’s fine crosshatch, with the linen content giving it a dry, natural look and the viscose adding a little smoother light reflection. Supplied at approximately 137cm wide, this fabric has no visible repeat, making the plain ground especially easy to tailor across clean upholstery lines or uninterrupted curtains. The composition is 52% Linen, 37% Viscose, 9% Cotton, 2% Polyester, and the listed fire code is √CM.

How to use it

Use this sea blue as a cooling counterpoint to pale oak, chalk white, or brushed nickel, where its muted depth can sit quietly rather than dominate. It works particularly well in relaxed schemes that need colour with a tailored, textural finish.

A calm blue linen blend that brings soft texture and easy refinement to both upholstery and drapery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
