About this fabric

This colourway has a fine, dappled texture that lets the darker and lighter yarns shift across the surface rather than reading as a flat blue. The 52% linen blend gives it a dry, lightly striated look, while the viscose and cotton soften the overall handle and appearance. At approximately 137cm wide and with a repeat of V 0cm / H 0cm approx, it is a straightforward plain-style cloth that is easy to plan into upholstery or curtains. The duck blue tone feels cool and slightly shadowed, with enough depth to hold interest in natural light without becoming bright.

How to use it

Use it on an armchair, banquette or cushions where the woven texture can be seen up close. It also suits relaxed drapery in rooms with pale timber, chalky neutrals or smoked oak, where the blue reads calm rather than cold.

A cool, textural blue that works neatly on tailored upholstery or relaxed curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
