Akari Storm/Cornflower
Akari Weaves FabricHAF0601-08
Akari Storm/Cornflower brings a cool, graphic rhythm to the Akari Weaves collection, with dense blue-grey zigzags crossing a pale neutral ground. The woven surface gives the pattern a softly textured, tactile appearance rather than a flat printed finish.

About this fabric
This substantial 716gsm fabric is woven with repeated pointed zigzags in stormy blue-grey and charcoal tones, softened by the pale grey-beige ground between them. The cool colourway reads muted rather than bright, while the darker chevrons give the surface clear depth and definition. With 190 threads per cm, the close-woven texture appears finely detailed despite the bold geometric motif. Its 138.5cm usable width and 13cm vertical by 5.3cm horizontal repeat make the pattern particularly effective across upholstered panels and seating.
How to use it
Use Storm/Cornflower on a statement chair, sofa or headboard where its cool blue-grey tone can sit alongside chalky neutrals, charcoal accents and pale timber. Align the compact zigzag repeat across broad upholstery faces to emphasise its graphic rhythm.
Use this substantial blue-grey weave to bring graphic structure and cool contrast to upholstered seating.

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Akari Storm/Cornflower without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
