About this fabric

At 716 gsm, this substantial fabric is well suited to upholstery, with a usable width of 138.5 cm. Its repeating chevron is formed from compact pine-green zigzags set against straw, giving the colourway a grounded, slightly earthy contrast rather than a bright or high-gloss effect. The supplied pattern repeat measures 13 cm vertically by 5.3 cm horizontally, creating a medium-scale rhythm across the cloth. A specification of 190 threads per cm accompanies the visibly dense woven surface.

How to use it

Use Akari Pine/Straw on an occasional chair, ottoman or sofa where the warm straw base can soften the deeper pine-green pattern. It works especially well with natural wood, tan leather and other muted earthy finishes.

Pair the warm straw ground with natural timber and use the pine-green chevrons as a considered accent.
