Amazilia Velvets VelvetHAF0067-01

About this fabric

The colourway has a dark, cool jewel-toned character, with a rich plum centre and green-teal bands that become more olive and gooseberry towards the edges. Its 379 gsm velvet construction gives the surface visible depth, with fine vertical texture and gentle changes in light across the pile. At 144 cm usable width, it is a practical upholstery cloth for covering larger areas with fewer joins. Both vertical and horizontal pattern repeats are 0 cm, so the irregular striated movement is not tied to a repeat.

How to use it

Use this colourway on a statement armchair, sofa or headboard against warm timber and restrained neutral walls. Its inky plum depth and emerald-green sides also suit rooms that already carry botanical, olive or dark teal accents.

Use the deep jewel tones to bring saturated colour and velvet depth to occasional chairs, sofas or headboards.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
