About this fabric

At 416 gsm, this velvet has a substantial upholstery-oriented presence and a richly tactile appearance. The 134 cm usable width offers a practical basis for upholstery cutting, while the design has a 140 cm vertical repeat and a 132 cm horizontal repeat. Fine branching and stippled marks build an intricate, landscape-like texture across the swatch, shifting from pale stone and cream through warm amber to deep rust and blue. With 57.7 threads per cm, the densely detailed surface reads as layered rather than flat, and the warm rust sections catch the eye against the cooler blue passages.

How to use it

Use the smoky blue and pale stone areas to temper the warmer amber and rust when upholstering a statement chair or sofa. The earthy palette suits dark timber and aged brass, while the large repeat allows the painterly vertical pattern to remain visible across generous upholstery panels.
