About this fabric

This substantial 390gsm woven fabric shows a layered botanical pattern of branching stems, leafy sprays and small flower clusters in softened blue-grey tones. The pale ground keeps the design light, while the cooler pigment gives the foliage a gently faded, stone-washed depth rather than a bright blue finish. It has a 137cm usable width, a 73.5cm vertical repeat and a 69.5cm horizontal repeat, allowing the scrolling pattern to be planned carefully across upholstery panels. With 216 threads per centimetre and a standard length of 35m, the closely textured cloth has the visual density suited to upholstered furniture.

How to use it

Use this muted blue-grey on a reading chair, buttoned headboard or compact sofa, pairing it with chalky ivory, weathered oak and soft grey-blue accents. Its cool, faded tone also balances warmer brass and terracotta details without becoming dominant.

Use this cool blue-grey botanical weave on occasional chairs, sofas or headboards against warm ivory and natural timber.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Coromandel Weave Blue Stone without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
