About this fabric

The design is built from repeated flowering branches, leafy sprays and perched birds, with blue-grey, green and muted brown details visible against the light ground. At 344 gsm and 25.2 threads per cm, the cloth has a substantial, closely made feel rather than the appearance of a fine sheer. Its usable width is 141 cm, with a large 76 cm vertical repeat and 70 cm horizontal repeat that preserve the scale of the branches and birds across a wider furnishing. The blue-stone colouring reads cool and gently faded, while the deeper bird and branch marks add definition without making the pattern feel heavy.

How to use it

Use the cool blue-stone ground on an occasional chair, relaxed sofa or full-length curtain, pairing it with chalky whites, pale grey, weathered oak and small accents of moss green to echo the foliage.
