French Marble Empire grey / Perfect White

Cotswolds Manor Fabrics FabricZOF0188-01

French Marble Empire grey / Perfect White recreates the veined movement of pale marble in a cool, restrained palette. Fine grey branches and cloudy tonal marks travel across the white ground, giving the swatch a crisp yet naturally irregular surface.

About this fabric

The Perfect White ground is broken by cool Empire grey veining, ranging from soft translucent washes to sharper, branching lines. Its large-scale marble motif has a distinctly directional flow, with denser grey passages creating depth against the open white areas. The specification gives this fabric a 140 cm useable width, a 92 cm vertical repeat and a 140 cm horizontal repeat. At 205 gsm and 33.8 threads per cm, it is a versatile mid-weight suitable for both upholstery and drapery applications.

How to use it

Pair this cool grey-and-white colourway with pale stone, polished metal and soft grey upholstery for a clean architectural scheme. Use the generous marble repeat on statement curtains or a selectively upholstered chair where its veining can remain visible.

Use this cool grey-and-white marble effect to bring crisp architectural contrast to upholstery, cushions or full-length curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
