About this fabric

This substantial 425gsm fabric is dominated by branching stems, stylised blooms, seed heads and curling leaves in varied red and green tones. The warm neutral ground gives the colourway a softly faded, heritage feel, while the deeper crimson flowers provide concentrated pockets of colour across the design. It has a 140cm usable width and a large 166.5cm vertical repeat with a matching 140cm horizontal repeat, so the full arrangement should be considered when planning upholstery panels. A density of 69 threads per cm supports its weighty, detailed character.

How to use it

Use Kalamkari Red / Green on a statement armchair, headboard or occasional sofa where its warm parchment ground can balance the pattern. Echo the olive leaves with muted green paint or trim, and use russet, terracotta or aged red accents to draw out the floral depth.

Pair the warm botanical ground with aged wood, russet leather and quiet linen neutrals.
