About this fabric

The design is built from branching, looping stems populated by large thistle-like blooms, delicate leaves and smaller ornamental botanical details in varying depths of blue. Against the ivory ground, the indigo reads crisp in the open areas and deeper where the stems and floral outlines overlap, giving the repeat a quietly layered appearance. At 236 gsm, this is a versatile mid-weight fabric suited to both upholstery and drapery, with a 142 cm usable width. The pattern repeat measures 61 cm vertically by 94 cm horizontally, so the larger blooms and winding framework will have a clear presence when applied.

How to use it

Use Phaedra Toile Indigo on relaxed curtains to let the ivory ground brighten a room, or on a compact upholstered chair where the cool ink-blue botanicals can act as a graphic focal point. Pair it with chalky whites, natural timber and soft blue-grey plains for a restrained Cotswolds-inspired scheme.
