About this fabric

This Amalfi colourway has the look of a very dark blue, almost black in the shaded areas, with a subtle smoky depth rather than a bright ink tone. The plain design keeps the surface clean and understated, while the close, fine texture visible in the swatch gives it a practical, contract-ready character. Made from 100% polyester, it is specified for contract use and offers a robust 60,000 Martindale, making it well suited to demanding interiors. It is supplied back coated to cigarette and match to BS5852, and should be professionally dry cleaned in situ with further guidance taken from the pattern book.

How to use it

Use this deep navy in crisp, tailored schemes where you want a dark anchor without the severity of black. It pairs especially well with pale oak, brushed metal and chalky neutrals, letting the colour read rich and quietly formal.
