Bellflowers Indigo/Sage

About this fabric

This 402 gsm fabric has a substantial presence suited to upholstery, with a finely detailed surface that holds the intricate floral repeat clearly. The indigo ground reads blue-grey and softly muted rather than bright, while sage leaves and cream flower centres bring measured contrast. Small bellflower motifs repeat across the face at a 16 cm vertical repeat, with a 140 cm horizontal repeat that spans the usable width. The fabric is supplied at 140 cm usable width and a standard length of 60 m, with 56 threads per cm.

How to use it

Pair the cool indigo and sage tones with aged oak, chalky walls and warm cream upholstery details. The closely packed floral field works especially well on a statement chair, footstool or occasional seat where the fine botanical drawing can be seen.

Use this cool indigo and sage floral for upholstered seating where its dense detail can be appreciated up close.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
