Brunswick Forest
Archive IV The Collector Fabrics FabricMOF0078-03
Brunswick Forest is a dense, tactile woven upholstery fabric in a moss-olive ground, animated by tightly packed zigzag marks and tiny flecks of red, turquoise and yellow. Its layered colouring reads earthy and collected rather than bright.

About this fabric
The surface is formed from a small-scale, all-over chevron-like weave, with olive, khaki and beige threads creating a softly irregular rhythm across the cloth. Occasional red, turquoise and mustard-yellow points bring subtle colour without overpowering the grounded green-brown base. At 710gsm and 18 threads per centimetre, it has a substantial, closely woven handle suited to upholstery. The usable width is 140cm, with a 0cm vertical and horizontal pattern repeat, so the texture can be positioned freely across a piece.
How to use it
Pair this cool, mossy olive colourway with aged oak, parchment neutrals and small accents of rust or deep teal. Its dense woven texture works particularly well on a tailored armchair, footstool or compact sofa where the scattered colour flecks can be seen up close.
Use this weighty moss-olive weave on an occasional chair or sofa, with warm timber and muted jewel accents.

Pairs well with
Brunswick Forest is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
