Brunswick Indigo

Archive IV The Collector Fabrics FabricMOF0078-10

Brunswick Indigo combines a deep, cool indigo ground with closely spaced taupe zigzags, creating a compact woven check with a distinctly graphic surface. Flecks of muted teal appear within the dark colouring as the weave catches the light.

About this fabric

This substantial textile weighs 710 gsm and has a tightly worked appearance, making it well suited to upholstery rather than a light, fluid drapery application. The small-scale chevron structure alternates dark indigo and warm taupe so the surface reads as textured and dimensional from a short distance. With 18 threads per centimetre, the weave has a visibly dense, even character. It is supplied at a 140 cm usable width, with both vertical and horizontal pattern repeats recorded as 0 cm.

How to use it

Use Brunswick Indigo on a statement armchair, sofa or dining chair where its cool navy depth can anchor a room. Pair it with warm timber, aged brass and plain taupe textiles to pick up the lighter zigzag threads without competing with the small-scale pattern.

A substantial indigo-and-taupe woven check that brings graphic rhythm to upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
