Bellflowers Saffron/Olive
Archive IV The Collector Fabrics FabricMOF0083-01
Bellflowers Saffron/Olive brings a finely detailed floral field into a warm, parchment-like ground. Saffron-gold and olive foliage are threaded with muted coral accents, while narrow patterned borders frame the repeating design.

About this fabric
Small bellflower and leaf motifs sit in closely spaced horizontal rows across this 140 cm-wide cloth, creating a richly patterned, tapestry-like surface. Its 402 gsm weight and 56 threads per cm describe a substantial, tightly made textile, while the fine woven detail is clearly visible in the swatch. The saffron reads mellow rather than bright against the cream ground, with olive foliage and soft coral touches adding depth without losing the colourway’s warm, aged character. A 16 cm vertical repeat and 140 cm horizontal repeat give the design a measured rhythm, with the narrow side borders providing a defined edge.
How to use it
Use this warm saffron and olive colourway on a reading-room chair, footstool or full-length curtains where its cream ground can lighten the dense botanical pattern. Echo the muted coral details with terracotta accessories and balance the formal motif with olive-painted timber or natural wood.
Use the warm saffron, olive and coral palette to bring layered botanical detail to upholstery or drapery.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
