Bellflowers Charcoal/Olive
Archive IV The Collector Fabrics FabricMOF0083-04
Bellflowers Charcoal/Olive presents a dense field of small, stylised bellflowers and foliage in charcoal and olive, picked out with pale cream detail. The dark ground gives the closely packed pattern a quiet, archival depth.

About this fabric
The fine botanical motifs repeat vertically every 16 cm, creating a richly detailed surface rather than a large, open floral. Charcoal forms the deepest tone, while muted olive and warm pale accents soften the contrast and keep the design from reading as stark black and white. With a weight of 402 gsm and 56 threads per cm, this is a substantial textile suited to upholstery. It has a 140 cm usable width, a 140 cm horizontal repeat and a standard length of 60 m; the narrow patterned border visible at either side adds definition when the cloth is framed on furniture.
How to use it
Use Bellflowers Charcoal/Olive on a sofa, fireside chair or ottoman where its dark olive-charcoal ground can anchor a room. Pair it with warm ivory, aged timber and brushed brass to draw out the pale botanical highlights without competing with the small-scale pattern.
Use this deep charcoal and olive pattern to bring intricate botanical detail to upholstered seating and occasional furniture.

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Bellflowers Charcoal/Olive without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
