Archive Weaves FabricMOF0034-01

Crown Imperial Moss/Biscuit pairs a muted moss ground with softly contrasting biscuit flowers and scrolling foliage. Its dense woven pattern has a quiet, heritage character rather than a bright or high-contrast effect.

About this fabric

The repeating design is formed from stylised floral medallions, curling leaves and fine interlaced lines, all visibly woven into the cloth. In this colourway, the warm biscuit motifs sit gently against the greyed moss background, giving the pattern depth while keeping the overall impression subdued. At 310gsm with 54 threads per centimetre, the fabric has a substantial, closely textured handle suited to both upholstery and drapery. The 140cm usable width and 46cm vertical by 27cm horizontal repeat provide clear specifications for planning joins and pattern placement.

How to use it

Use Moss/Biscuit on a traditional armchair, footstool or seat cushion where the olive tone can anchor warmer timber and brass accents. It can also bring softly patterned depth to curtains or loose cushions without overpowering a room.

The muted moss ground and biscuit floral detail suit traditional upholstery, cushions, curtains and coordinated room schemes.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Crown Imperial Moss/Biscuit without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
