Little Chintz Olive/Ochre combines a softly greyed olive ground with warm ochre fruit-like motifs and tightly packed floral sprays. Coral, blue-grey and cream details give the colourway a gently faded, layered appearance.

About this fabric

The finely woven surface is filled with repeated floral foliage, small blossoms and rounded ochre fruit-like motifs arranged in orderly horizontal rows. Its olive ground is muted rather than bright, allowing the coral reds, blue-grey leaves and pale cream flowers to sit in a softly weathered balance. At 300 gsm and 49 threads per cm, it has the substance and close structure of a versatile mid-weight textile suitable for upholstery or drapery. The 37 cm vertical and 35 cm horizontal repeats maintain the compact rhythm across the 139 cm usable width.

How to use it

Use this olive and ochre colourway on a reading chair, bench or relaxed curtain scheme where its dense pattern can bring warmth without becoming highly saturated. Pair it with aged timber, warm neutrals and small touches of coral to pick up the floral accents.

A densely patterned mid-weight floral with a softly muted olive ground and warm ochre accents.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Little Chintz Olive/Ochre without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
