About this fabric

This 300 gsm fabric has a 139 cm usable width, giving the finely patterned cloth a versatile mid-weight presence for upholstery or drapery. Its 37 cm vertical and 35 cm horizontal repeats form neat rows of blue leafy sprays, small cream flowers and rounded carmine-red floral motifs. Green details soften the contrast between the deep indigo and warm red, while the woven surface gives the dense design a subtle tactile grain. With 49 threads per centimetre, the ground looks closely constructed and even beneath the intricate chintz pattern.

How to use it

Pair the cool indigo ground with natural timber, chalky cream walls and warm red or russet accents to echo the carmine motifs. The compact repeat is especially effective on an occasional chair, dining seat or full-length curtain where its orderly rows remain visible.
