About this fabric

This substantial 402 gsm fabric is printed or woven with a repeating floral arrangement of red-carmine flower heads, blue-green foliage, pale cream details and ochre-gold accents against indigo. The 75.5 cm vertical repeat and 35 cm horizontal repeat create a clearly structured pattern, while the 140 cm usable width gives the design room to read across upholstery panels. Its 56 threads per centimetre contribute to the finely detailed surface visible in the swatch. The cool blue ground deepens the red flowers and gives the colourway a formal, slightly dramatic character.

How to use it

Use the indigo ground as an anchoring colour on a statement armchair, sofa or upholstered headboard, then draw out the carmine blooms with warm red or russet accessories. Ochre and aged brass accents will reinforce the small golden details in the pattern without competing with its dense floral rhythm.
