About this fabric

This Morris & Co. velvet weighs 416 gsm, giving the densely patterned cloth a substantial feel suited to upholstery. Its 38.5 cm vertical and 89.5 cm horizontal pattern repeats arrange curling leaves, pointed foliage and small flower heads into a continuous all-over composition. The cool indigo background brings depth, while the coral-pink leaves read softly warm rather than bright; cream blossoms and muted green details prevent the dark ground from feeling flat. At 57.7 threads per centimetre and a usable width of 135 cm, it offers a detailed surface for considered furniture projects.

How to use it
