Glade Gooseberry Fool

Bedford Park Wallpapers WallpaperMOW0116-01

Glade Gooseberry Fool places bold teal foliage, sage-green leaf clusters and ochre tulip-like flowers across a warm cream ground. The generous botanical forms give this colourway a lively, hand-drawn character without losing its soft, light background.

About this wallpaper

The design combines sweeping teal leaves with upright sage-green foliage, small ochre tulip heads and rounded yellow-green flower clusters. Against the cream ground, the teal reads cool and distinctive, while the yellow-green details add a bright, slightly citrus note. The supplied specification gives this wallpaper a 52 cm usable width, a 10.05 m standard length and a 38.4 cm vertical pattern repeat. Its listed weight is 198 gsm, with no performance features noted.

How to use it

Use this colourway in a bright hallway, bedroom or garden-facing sitting room, repeating the cream ground through the scheme and picking out the teal with muted green and ochre accessories. Natural timber and woven textures will temper the pattern’s clear, graphic contrast.

Pair the creamy ground with natural woods, soft greens and warm ochre accents for a fresh botanical scheme.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Glade Gooseberry Fool without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
