About this fabric

The compact floral composition combines curling stems, leafy sprigs and repeated flower heads in a lively, closely spaced arrangement. Spring green is the dominant tone, while pale blue brings a cool counterpoint and ochre yellow and terracotta add warmth and depth across the surface. With a usable width of 141 cm and a weight of 288 gsm, this is a versatile mid-weight fabric suited to both upholstery and drapery. The pattern repeats every 52 cm vertically and 35 cm horizontally, with a stated thread count of 35.8 threads per cm.

How to use it

Pair Compton Spring with warm ivory, natural linen and pale timber to emphasise its fresh green ground, or pick out the terracotta details with muted clay-coloured accents. Its 52 cm vertical repeat works well on curtains, cushions and a feature chair.

Use this fresh, garden-like colourway to bring lively pattern to curtains, cushions, occasional upholstery or a statement chair.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
