Blackthorn Spring

Blackthorn Spring is a densely illustrated botanical wallpaper on a warm cream ground, alive with spring-green foliage, orange flowers and small touches of blue and pink. The light background keeps the intricate composition fresh rather than heavy.

About this wallpaper

Flowing leafy stems, rounded seed-heads and clustered flowers create a richly populated pattern, with pale-blue bell-shaped blooms and blush-pink blossoms adding cool and delicate accents among the stronger greens and oranges. The warm cream ground allows the green foliage to read clearly while the orange flowers provide concentrated points of colour. This wallpaper has a 52 cm usable width and a 61 cm vertical pattern repeat, giving the design a clear, considered rhythm across the wall. Supplied in a standard 10.05 m length, it is listed at 194 gsm.

How to use it

Pair Blackthorn Spring with warm painted cream or soft olive-green woodwork to echo its ground and foliage. Its orange, blue and pink flower notes also suit a layered room with small accents in terracotta, faded blue or blush.

Use this lively spring palette to bring warmth and layered botanical colour to a room.

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Blackthorn Spring without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
