About this fabric

Woven in 100% wool, this cloth has the reassuring body and handle you’d expect from a versatile furnishing fabric, while its approximate 152cm width makes it practical for a range of interiors. The plaid is set on an aqua-grey ground, then lifted by terracotta red, muted plum and dark charcoal lines that give the design depth without looking harsh. A repeat of approximately V 30cm by H 25.5cm creates a clearly patterned tartan effect, but the overall colour balance keeps it grounded and easy to live with. Care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code √BH are supplied for this exact fabric.

How to use it

Use it for a club chair, bench cushion or tailored curtains where the cool aqua ground can temper the warmer terracotta stripes. It works especially well with oak, aged brass and chalky painted walls, letting the plaid read as heritage-inspired rather than rustic.

Pair with warm timber and muted leather to let the plaid’s cool aqua and brick tones balance each other.
