About this fabric

Woven in 100% wool, this fabric has the natural handle and slightly napped surface you would expect from a traditional upholstery cloth. The check is set on a muted olive-moss ground, cut through with red, rust and pale beige lines that give the design a clear tartan rhythm without feeling overly bright. Its repeat is approximately V 20cm / H 18cm, and the 148cm width makes it practical for a wide range of domestic applications. The overall effect is warm, heritage-led and pleasantly understated, with the green base keeping the red accents from reading too festive.

How to use it

Use it on an armchair, ottoman or window seat to bring a restrained country note into a sitting room or study. It pairs especially well with dark wood, aged brass and plain linens in stone or oatmeal tones.
