Lisle Check Aqua

Lisle FabricF3827-02

Lisle Check Aqua is a soft, cool check in pale aqua and chalky ivory, with a calm washed appearance across the weave. The large-scale grid keeps the design clean and airy rather than busy.

About this fabric

Woven in 80% wool and 20% polyamide, this fabric has the reassuring body of wool with a slightly crisp, practical handle. The check is set out in an approximate 16cm vertical repeat and 14.5cm horizontal repeat, creating a generous windowpane effect that reads clearly on the cloth. In this colourway the aqua ground feels muted and powdery, while the fine pale lines soften the geometry and keep it feeling relaxed. At 144cm wide, it offers good coverage for upholstery or drapery where a light, tailored pattern is wanted.

How to use it

Use it on a neatly upholstered armchair, bench or headboard where the pale aqua can brighten the room without feeling stark. It also suits relaxed curtains or Roman blinds alongside white timber, washed oak and soft grey paint.

Fresh and quietly tailored, this aqua check works well when you want a light, coastal feel without losing structure.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Lisle Check Aqua without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
