About this fabric

Woven in 100% cotton and measuring 140cm wide, Heritage Egg Shell has a simple plain appearance with no pattern repeat, so the texture and colour do all the work. This colourway sits in a gentle blue-green register, looking cool, airy and slightly chalky in the light rather than bright or saturated. The close weave gives it a neat, understated finish that suits schemes needing a calm block of colour. Care code BQV1< should be checked before making up, especially if you plan to use it on high-contact or frequently handled pieces.

How to use it

Use this soft aqua as a fresh counterpoint to white woodwork, pale oak and natural linens. It would bring a breezy, coastal feel to relaxed seating or light-filled curtains.

A fresh aqua cotton that works well for clean-lined upholstery or airy curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
