Cecily Aqua/Blue

Atmosphere VII FabricJ0085-06

Cecily Aqua/Blue has a soft, airy presence, with pale aqua leaf forms scattered across a warm ivory ground. The dotted, painterly motif keeps the design light and fresh rather than bold.

About this fabric

This fabric is from Jane Churchill’s Atmosphere VII collection and is supplied at approximately 128cm wide, with a vertical repeat of 40cm and a horizontal repeat of 32cm. The composition is 44% cotton, 41% polyester and 15% viscose, which gives the cloth a softly textured, practical handle with enough body for interiors. In this colourway, the blue reads as a cool, diluted aqua, balanced by taupe-brown accents and a creamy background that lifts the overall effect. The small dotted pattern sits quietly on the surface, creating a gentle, floating movement without overwhelming the room.

How to use it

Use Cecily Aqua/Blue where you want a calm wash of colour with a delicate decorative note, such as relaxed curtains, a smart roman blind, or occasional upholstery. Its pale blue and neutral balance makes it especially good with bleached wood, chalky whites and soft grey textiles.

A gentle aqua ground with delicate leaf scatter that works beautifully on lighter upholstery or flowing curtains.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Cecily Aqua/Blue without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
