Cecily Red/Ochre
Atmosphere VII FabricJ0085-03
Cecily Red/Ochre pairs a pale, chalky ground with scattered little leaf sprays in red, ochre, rose and plum. The result is light, lively and slightly painterly, with the motif reading clearly without overwhelming the surface.

About this fabric
This fabric is supplied as a 128cm-wide textile with an approximate vertical repeat of 40cm and horizontal repeat of 32cm, making the small botanical placement feel regular but still relaxed. Its composition of 44% cotton, 41% polyester and 15% viscose gives the cloth a softly structured handle rather than a flat printed look. In this colourway, the ground is a muted warm grey-beige that lets the red and ochre details stand out gently rather than sharply, while the deeper plum accents add a little depth. The overall effect is airy and usable, with enough colour to warm a scheme but a pale enough base to keep it easy to live with.
How to use it
Use it where you want a discreet burst of warmth: a chair, bench or blind in a calm room, or curtains that add pattern without darkening the space. The soft red and ochre notes sit especially well with oak, linen, plastery neutrals and aged brass.
A fresh, small-scale botanical that brings warmth without feeling heavy.

Pairs well with
A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Cecily Red/Ochre without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
