About this fabric

Woven in 100% linen, Ashmead Red has the crisp, matte handle you would expect from a printed linen cloth. The design repeats at approximately V 15cm / H 15cm, and the 135cm width makes it practical for upholstery or drapery projects where a rhythmic small repeat is desirable. In this colourway the red is softened rather than bright, sitting against a natural-looking ground that keeps the overall effect light and slightly aged. The fine printed detail and the linen texture give the fabric a relaxed, country-house character rather than a sharp graphic one.

How to use it

Use Ashmead Red on an armchair, window seat or Roman blind to bring a warm accent without overpowering a room. It pairs especially well with oak, painted off-whites and quiet green or stone interiors.

A softly faded red that works beautifully with natural woods and understated neutrals.
