Honeysuckle Red Chintz

Ashdown Fabric01090-01

Honeysuckle Red Chintz brings a lively floral trail of red-pink blooms and fresh green foliage across a clear ivory ground. The overall effect is bright and airy, with the red acting as a warm accent rather than a heavy fill colour.

About this fabric

This fabric is 100% cotton with an approximate width of 122cm and a vertical repeat of 37cm, giving the climbing floral and butterfly motif a clear, regular rhythm. In this colourway, the honeysuckle blooms read as warm red with pink and yellow highlights, softened by leaf greens and a pale ground that keeps the design feeling open. The chintz finish gives the print a crisp, slightly traditional character, while the scattered butterflies add movement between the floral sprays. Care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code √BM are supplied for this exact fabric.

How to use it

Use it for statement curtains, roman blinds, or occasional upholstery where the warm red blossoms can lift a pale room. It pairs well with cream paint, aged timber, and brass accents, which suit the lively but refined cottage-garden feel.

Bring in rattan, painted wood, or simple stripes to let the floral colourway stand out.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
