About this fabric
Woven in a 67% Linen, 28% Viscose, 5% Polyester blend, this Ashdown fabric has a relaxed, natural handle that suits its softly painterly floral motif. The design repeats at approximately V 78cm / H 128cm, and the generous scale is visible in the long hanging garlands and branching sprays across the width. In this colourway, the ground reads warm ivory rather than stark white, which lets the lilac blossoms feel muted and elegant instead of bright. The leaf tones stay green and airy, giving the pattern a light, refined balance without losing its decorative character. Care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code √BM are supplied for this fabric.
How to use it
Use Seraphina Linen Lilac/Leaf for curtains in a bedroom, drawing room, or garden-facing sitting room where the soft lilac will feel calm rather than sugary. It would also make elegant occasional upholstery on a chair or headboard when paired with painted wood in pale sage, putty, or stone.
Lovely for curtains or statement upholstery where the lilac blossom trail can read softly against a pale ground.

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Seraphina Linen Lilac/Leaf without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
