About this fabric
This substantial 406gsm fabric has a visibly textured, linen-like ground that gives the pale background quiet depth rather than a flat finish. The large flowers combine muted lilac, lavender and soft grey-blue detailing, with olive-sage leaves and delicate outlined stems. A 48cm vertical repeat and 43cm horizontal repeat create a clearly spaced floral layout suited to upholstery projects where the motif can be appreciated. With a useable width of 137cm, the design offers practical coverage while retaining its detailed, softly aged appearance.
How to use it
Use Richmond Heather on an occasional chair, buttoned headboard or statement sofa where its cool lilac flowers can sit against warm ivory walls, natural wood and softly weathered finishes. Pick up the sage leaves with a plain cushion or trim in a muted olive tone.
A substantial floral upholstery fabric that brings softened lilac, ivory and sage tones to traditional or relaxed interiors.

Pairs well with
A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Richmond Heather without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
