About this fabric

This substantial 494 gsm fabric has a fine woven surface that gives the pale greige ground gentle tonal variation as the light moves across it. Charcoal-grey leaf forms link into large oval trellis shapes, with the delicate internal lines remaining clearly visible against the quieter background. The pattern repeats every 23 cm vertically and 21.5 cm horizontally, creating a consistent rhythm across upholstery panels. With a 137 cm usable width and a standard 40 m length, Malham Smoke is well suited to coordinated upholstery schemes where the repeat can be carefully aligned.

How to use it

Use Malham Smoke on a sofa, headboard or dining chair to bring a cool, smoky greige base into the room, then pick up the charcoal motif with blackened wood, aged metal or deeper grey accents. Its restrained contrast works particularly well where a botanical pattern is wanted without introducing a strong colour statement.
