About this fabric

The pattern forms open diamond-shaped loops, with pairs of outlined leaves following each garland and a smaller sprig motif centred within the spaces. Its taupe-beige background reads softly warm against the restrained brown-grey drawing, rather than stark or high-contrast. A visible fine woven texture lends the ground a gently tactile appearance, while the substantial 494 gsm weight makes it well suited to upholstery. The design has a 23 cm vertical repeat and 21.5 cm horizontal repeat, with a 137 cm usable width and 40 m standard length.

How to use it

Use Malham Taupe on a buttoned or clean-lined armchair where its warm grey-beige tone can sit comfortably with timber, stone and aged brass. The open garland pattern brings a tailored botanical detail without overwhelming a neutral room.
