Wensley Raspberry/Duckegg

Richmond FabricCCF0141-03

Wensley Raspberry/Duckegg pairs cool duck-egg blue and saturated raspberry-red stripes with a warm oyster ground. Its fine woven surface keeps the contrast crisp, while the subtle crossweave softens the overall effect.

About this fabric

This vertically striped fabric places raspberry-red bands beside narrower duck-egg blue lines, with the warm neutral ground showing clearly between each colour group. The horizontal pattern repeat is 23.7 cm, while the vertical repeat is 0 cm, giving the stripe a continuous lengthwise appearance. At 306 gsm, it has a substantial mid-weight handle that can work across upholstery and drapery applications. It is supplied at a 137 cm usable width, with a standard length of 40 m.

How to use it

Use the raspberry stripes to bring a controlled shot of cool red to an upholstered chair, headboard or bench, balancing them with the fabric’s warm oyster ground. For windows, the duck-egg lines can sit comfortably with pale blue, chalky white and natural timber.

Pair the raspberry and duck-egg stripes with warm neutrals for a tailored, quietly colourful scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
