About this fabric

The pale warm-grey ground has a fine, linen-like visual texture, while the charcoal design is made up of outlined leaves and curling tendrils that create strong diamond geometry. At 494gsm, this is a substantial fabric suited to upholstery, with enough visual depth for a statement chair, bench or sofa. The pattern repeat measures 23cm vertically by 21.5cm horizontally, allowing the lattice to remain clearly legible across a larger upholstered surface. It is supplied at a 137cm usable width and a standard 40m length.

How to use it

Use Malham Charcoal on a traditional armchair or a clean-lined banquette, where its cool charcoal drawing can anchor the room without making the warm grey background feel heavy. Pair it with chalk, oat, blackened wood or muted metal accents to echo its restrained tonal contrast.
