About this fabric

Wensley Spice pairs narrow rust-red and warm taupe stripes with a pale grey-beige woven ground. Its close, tactile weave softens the contrast, while the rust bands add an earthy lift rather than a bright red effect. At 306 gsm and 137 cm usable width, it has the substance for upholstery while remaining suitable for drapery. The horizontal repeat is 23.7 cm, with no vertical repeat, making the vertical stripe straightforward to align.

How to use it

Use the warm rust stripes to bring depth to a taupe, stone or soft grey scheme, either on a tailored chair or as full-length curtains. The pale ground keeps the colourway calm enough to pair with natural wood and understated neutrals.

A warm, structured stripe that brings muted rust and taupe contrast to upholstery or full-length curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
