Flynn Linen FabricF4890-14

Flynn Aubergine is a quietly textural plain linen in a muted plum-aubergine tone. Its fine woven surface gives the colour a soft, dry finish rather than a shiny one.

About this fabric

This colourway reads as a smoky aubergine with cool plum undertones, lifted slightly by the natural crosshatch of the linen weave. The fabric is 100% linen and comes in an approximate width of 139cm, with a repeat of V 0cm / H 0cm approx, so the emphasis stays on the texture and colour rather than pattern placement. The surface has the familiar lightly slubbed look of linen, which softens the depth of the shade and keeps it feeling relaxed as well as polished. With no performance features noted and a fire code of √BM, it sits comfortably in a decorative furnishing role.

How to use it

Use this shade on tailored cushions, a simple armchair or relaxed curtains where the plum tone can be seen in changing light. It pairs especially well with warm oak, putty neutrals and deeper berry accents for a grounded, elegant scheme.

A refined berry-plum linen that adds depth without overpowering a scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
