Keats Aubergine

Keats FabricF3914-11

Keats Aubergine is a dark, sumptuous purple with a plum-brown depth and a softly mottled finish that catches the light in bands. The surface reads plush and tactile, giving the colourway a quietly dramatic feel.

About this fabric

This colourway shows a rich aubergine base with smoky blackened bands and a subtle velvet-like nap that gives the surface movement. It is a fabric, not wallpaper, with a width of approximately 142cm and a composition of 70% viscose and 30% cotton. The zero repeat in both directions makes the effect entirely about tone and pile rather than motif. Its depth feels luxurious and enveloping, while the soft sheen keeps the purple from looking flat or overly severe. With no performance features noted, it is best chosen for decorative upholstery or other refined interior applications where the colour can be the focus.

How to use it

Use Keats Aubergine on an occasional chair, bench, or cushion to bring a jewel-toned note into a neutral scheme. It pairs especially well with brass, walnut, and warm greys, where the plum undertone can read rich rather than harsh.

Rich and moody with a soft velvety surface, ideal for statement seating or tailored cushions.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
