About this fabric

This Porter & Stone fabric is woven to a 140cm width and has a 48cm pattern repeat, making the scale of the floral motif an important part of the overall look. The composition of 66% polyester, 30% acrylic and 4% linen gives the cloth a lightly textured, practical handle that suits both furnishing and window treatments. In this aubergine colourway, the flowers read as rich plum-purple rather than bright violet, which keeps the pattern grounded and slightly dusky. The pale background lifts the design so the darker blooms and sketch-like stems remain crisp and visible.

How to use it

Use it on a statement chair, occasional bench or full-length curtains where the deep plum petals can sit against pale walls or warm wood. It also works well with oatmeal, taupe and charcoal accents for a layered, calm scheme.

Pair with soft neutrals and dark timber to let the painterly blooms stand out.
