Serpa Heather

Plains & Semi Plains Fabric

Serpa Heather is a softly mottled plain with a fine, pebbled texture and a gentle heathered finish. The colour reads as a cool mauve-grey, lightened by subtle chalky pink tones across the surface.

About this fabric

This colourway has a delicate, low-contrast appearance, with the weave catching the light to reveal a softly speckled texture rather than a flat solid. The heathered mauve-grey tone feels restrained and airy, making the patterning recede while the surface texture stays visible. Woven in 64% polyester and 36% cotton, the fabric has a practical mixed-fibre handle suited to everyday interiors. It is 137cm wide, with a pattern repeat of 35.5cm, and the overall effect is more understated than vivid, with a gentle mineral quality.

How to use it

Use Serpa Heather where you want colour without heaviness: it works well on a tailored chair, a neat bench, or curtains that need a soft, cool wash of tone. Pair it with pale oak, brushed nickel, and off-white linens to keep the mauve-grey reading fresh.

A muted mauve-grey that brings a calm, softly textured finish to both upholstery and curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
