Serpa Burnt Orange

Plains & Semi Plains Fabric

Serpa Burnt Orange is a richly textured plain with a warm, earthy glow and a subtly mottled surface. The close weave gives the colour extra depth, so it reads as lived-in and inviting rather than flat.

About this fabric

Woven in 64% polyester and 36% cotton, Serpa Burnt Orange has a practical blended handle with the character of a textured upholstery cloth. Its 137cm width and 35.5cm pattern repeat make it a straightforward specification for made-to-measure use, while the surface shows a tight, grainy weave that catches the light in rust, copper and clay tones. The burnt orange colourway feels warm and grounded, with a slightly muted finish that softens the intensity of the shade. Care instruction AQW1< is supplied for this fabric.

How to use it

Use this colourway on an occasional chair, banquette or cushions where you want a strong warm accent with a tactile finish. It pairs especially well with natural woods, tobacco leather and warm neutrals that let the terracotta depth stand out.

A warm, textured burnt orange that adds depth without overpowering a scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
