Morocco Burnt Orange
Other Fabrics & Weaves Fabric
Morocco Burnt Orange pairs a woven terracotta ground with a crisp pale geometric lattice. The overall effect is warm, textural and slightly sun-faded, with the pattern sitting clearly over the surface.

About this fabric
This Fabric from Fryett's Fabrics has a 140cm width and an 11.5cm pattern repeat, making the scale of the repeating link motif easy to read across a larger piece. The composition of 75% polyester, 13% cotton, 8% linen and 4% viscose gives the cloth a textile feel that suits a practical decorative use, while the visible weave keeps the surface from looking flat. In this colourway, the burnt orange ground reads as earthy terracotta with a softened, brushed depth rather than a bright rust, and the pale linear pattern stands out with a chalky contrast. The result is lively but grounded, with enough texture in the background to stop the geometric from feeling too sharp. Care code NQT1< is supplied for this fabric.
How to use it
Use it on an accent chair, footstool or cushions where the terracotta ground can warm oak, walnut and pale plaster tones. It also works well in relaxed schemes with natural linens, aged brass and other muted, earthy colours.
A warm terracotta geometric that lifts timber and works well in layered, earthy schemes.

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Morocco Burnt Orange without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
