About this fabric

This Porter & Stone fabric is made in a 92% polyester and 8% cotton mix, with a 140cm width and a 28.5cm pattern repeat. The surface reads as a robust woven cloth, with the diagonal herringbone-like texture visible beneath the motif. Its paprika ground is earthy and sunbaked rather than bright, while the tree design is picked out in a soft off-white that gives the pattern crisp contrast. The overall effect is lively but grounded, making the large-scale repeat feel orderly rather than busy. Care code NQT1< is supplied for this exact fabric.

How to use it

Pair this warm terracotta tone with natural wood, pale plaster, or chalky neutrals to let the white motif stand out. It works especially well where you want pattern and colour to feel inviting rather than formal.

Use for statement upholstery or curtains where the warm red ground can bring instant character.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
