Otto Spice

Misc Fabric

Otto Spice brings a rhythmic geometric pattern in warm terracotta, coral and rose tones over a soft cream ground. The faceted motif gives the fabric a lively, contemporary feel without losing its tailored look.

About this fabric

Woven in a 69% polyester, 18% cotton and 13% viscose blend, Otto Spice has the body of a versatile decorative fabric and a tactile surface that shows the weave clearly in the light. The 145cm width makes it practical for a range of interior projects, while the 27.6cm vertical by 35.5cm horizontal repeat gives the pattern a confident, architectural scale. In this colourway, the palette leans warm and spice-led, mixing terracotta, coral, salmon and deeper paprika accents against a pale neutral base. The result is a mid-weight fabric with enough structure for upholstery and enough visual energy to stand alone on drapery or soft furnishings.

How to use it

Pair Otto Spice with sand, putty or bleached oak for a grounded scheme that lets the geometric blocks read clearly. It also works well as an accent on occasional chairs or cushions where the warm coral-red notes can lift a quieter room.

Use with warm neutrals and timber to let the angular motif and spicy coral-terracotta tones do the work.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Otto Spice without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
